FITNESS GURU TO JOIN BURGER PLANET

GARY, IN – Burger Planet is eager to announce there newest hire, Jayne Petersen. Petersen has been a fitness guru to the stars and has gained her media attention from talk show host, Opal Whitcomb, whom she has helped lose weight and keep it off.

Jayne Petersen stated that she was very energized to join the Burger Planet team, "Burger Planet has been a leader in the Quick Service Restaurant industry in offering healthy menu choices. The company believes in encouraging customers to live healthier, active lifestyles and I have spent my life trying to teach women that lesson."

Burger Planet and Jayne Petersen will be extending their immense menu and adding more healthy-conscious entrees. White chicken breast meat with or without the bun option, adding lettuce for a low-carb offering, holding the mayo, gourmet salads and fruit packets will be some of the new items on the menu.

In addition to the new items, Petersen is developing new tray liners that will offer nutritional advice. Burger Planet Smiley Meal is focused for adults that will include an ankle weight, fruit packages and the white meat chicken entrée.

CEO, James E. Mullenbach III said that Petersen is more then qualified for the job. "Jayne Petersen and Burger Planet share a commitment toward health. The women Jayne Petersen have helped lose weight eat at Burger Planet. [Together they] are launching a comprehensive program to assist those women in eating healthy."

Corny the Clown, Burger Planet’s beloved mascot will be pairing up with Petersen and will be featured in advertisements promoting the new healthy menu. Through the months of June and July Corny the Clown and Petersen will set out to make promotional appearances at Burger Planets and shopping malls around the nation.

Jayne Petersen has proven success through helping public idol, Opal Whitcomb, and now has put her success on the healthy-conscious menu at Burger Planet. Now it is time to go to one of the 8,921 Burger Planets nationwide to try the new healthy eating menu.

Katie, is this the final press release? It looks good, not sure if it is required, but I tink there needs to be a block of media contact info at the bottom afte the call to action and the boiler plate.
